Hi I’m Pauline! I was born and raised in Southern California, but currently soaking up life here on Oahu thanks to the U.S Coast Guard. Growing up, I was into all the sports. Baseball, horseback riding, skating, taekwondo, you name it, I loved them all. My true love was for gymnastics, but unfortunately my high school did not have a team and continuing on privately was too expensive and time consuming with five other siblings, so I chose running. All you needed was a pair of Chucks. Thankfully, I was blessed to earn a scholarship to run at Colorado State University, but eventually ended up transferring and graduating from Long Beach State University. After five years of collegiate running and more than 10 different coaches, I knew I always had a zeal for sports and a desire to coach athletes. Post graduation I coached at both LBSU and LB Poly HS before deciding to join the Coast Guard and attempting to become a rescue swimmer (like everyone says when they join lol). I made it 8 weeks through swimmer school, but everyday taught me more than I ever imagined physically, mentally, and spiritually. It showed me that your mind is a lot stronger than your body. Fast forward a few years, I'm married to the man of my prayers, with two beautiful children and another on the way! And at last, after more than a decade of performance specific training, I have finally been able to explore my long awaited interest in CrossFit, and have found my new passion! I am so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to my time growing here with the CFWO ohana :)
I’ve had many milestones in my life, but the greatest will always be Jesus. I haven’t always walked the straight and narrow path, but God has always brought me back. He is the reason I can’t number my blessings.
